Owen Sound's very own, and very knowledgeable Stephen Blender will lead you through SIX exceptional whisky tastings accompanied by a bea...utiful paired menu of appetizers to enjoy throughout the journey created by Chef Carter Fraser from Best Western Inn on the Bay. There will be some fabulous items to bid on at the Silent Auction, including a 6 night stay at a beautiful resort and many more surprises. We are sad to announce that Mr Cameron Graham our dearly beloved friend passed away Tuesday September 8, 2020. Cam loved our choristers and has generoualy supported the choir for the past 20 years. He was a dear friend who lived in Leith and invited us to participate in the annual Lessons and Carols services held each December at the Historic Leith Church. There will always be a place in our hearts for Cam and his beloved Jocelyn. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and many friends.

Know you are missed dearly and we all hope you are keeping healthy, enjoying a bit of school time and of course spending lots of time with your family! Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of AG Bert Hood, who passed away this morning. Mr Hood was a long time friend of the choir. He served as a conductor, accompanist, composer and arranger for many years. His continued encouragement and support meant so much to all of us! He never missed a GBCC concert or an opportunity to encourage the young musicians in our region. The deep sadness we feel today reminds us of how very special he was and how much he will be missed.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of one of our alumni Conductors and Pianist from our Choir, Mr. Bert Hood. He touched so many lives in our choir and through his connections around the world! He will be dearly missed

Hope you all survived Snowmageddon 2020!!! That is ALOT of snow out there! Good news about tomorrow.. CAMP IS ON! please see email from Linda as the times have changed, everyone is to arrive at 1pm at the Harmony Centre. We will not be going to the Catto Farm for the Sleigh ride as the trails are covered in snow. ... Plan to come in your warm comfy clothes, bring your choir bag and water bottle. If you are planning on coming but might be late, please contact Linda to let her know so she isnt worried about you! For those singing at Leith tonight.... Dress rehearsal with String Quartet: Sun Dec 22nd approx 3:30 4:30 pm Leith Church. Soloist and reader will rehearse outside of the choir if necessary. Service: Call time 7:00 pm Service begins at 7:30 pm but the church will be full by 7, so if you want a good seat you need to be there in good time. We usually finish around 8:30 pm. Wardrobe: Formal

Just a friendly reminder.... Tonight is our Dress Rehearsal! ( YAY!!!) Call Time is 530pm until 7pm at St. Andrew's church Please bring your music, water bottle, and of course beautiful singing voices! Dress is comfy cozy! ( Leave the formal stuff for tomorrow!!!)... Hello everyone, Welcome to June! Just a quick reminder about our pot luck supper and awards night...this coming Monday June 3 6 7:45 pm @ Harmony Centre in the Studio. All family members are welcome to this celebration!... Please bring a main dish and either a dessert or salad to share. We have 2 choristers with severe nut allergies so we request that you do not bring anything containing nuts. The choir will provide plates, cups, cutlery, beverages hot & cold, buns/butter and popsicles.
