I've kept myself very busy the last several months, perhaps so I wouldn't think of politics or Covid. Here's the result. I have written a book entitled "No! I Never Dream of Being a Potato", a poetry/story book for children. It was published the last weekend in November along with two companion colouring books. I also started a YouTube channel where I will read to kids. The first video is an excerpt from my book. I hope I have the energy and ambition to do others. Please have... a look and share with anyone who has children between ages 2 and 8 years old. Any comments or criticism are most welcome. Thank you and stay safe. Oh, and buy the books! This is one of the charities I support through the royalties from my book sales. If the spirit moves you, you are invited to support this worthwhile project in Africa. This a photo of our newly built school (not quite ready for occupation) and a group of orphans getting ready to attend school. Seven of us (all volunteers) are the Sierra Leone Action Mission project supporting an orphanage and school. With several generous supporters and our own contributions we just complete...d the building of the school in Koidu, Sierra Leone at a cost of $45,000. Covid and the resulting inflation in Sierra Leone has depleted our funds. We are need of additional funds for operations, food and ensuring the school becomes operational. Any donations over $20 are eligible for a Canadian Income tax receipt. However, we are not proud and will accept donations from any country. Please check out our website and help us if you are able.
