This engaging content is ideal for likes, shares and saves. Multiple slides are the perfect tool for shareable and educational content. The save option i...s going to be a new fave folder on your phone. Meme - Pronounced meem ( this one gets us every time ). 2020 was not the ideal year, however the popularity of Meme's will provided some comic relief that we all need on social media. Some tips if you plan to incorporate this into your content. Keep it relevant, lighthearted and if you don't want it to live on your grid, utilize stories! Shopping on Social - E-commerce is taking over the social media world and we are here for it Consumers are loving the option to shop online and your digital storefront is another way to secure revenue for your business. Three tips for taking a great interior photo: 1. Choose the right lens - In smaller rooms, this means using a wide angle, but not too wide - you don't want any wierd distortion. We use a Fujifilm X GFX North America 10 - 24 mm (15 - 36mm full frame equivalent) rectilinear lens for most small rooms. It is very sharp and has very little distortion. Most camera manufacturers have an equivalent lens for this purpose. 2. Correct your vertical lines. Nothing is more distractin...g in an interior photograph than crooked lines. 3. Declutter the space. Leaving the toothbrush on the counter is ok when your simply living in the space, but it's distracting in a photograph - regardless of how pretty the toothbrush holder is :) These are 3 simple rules that we follow for every residential photo we take. A fourth one that comes in handy is to be aware of what's in the mirror - sometimes you can choose a better spot for yourself, or your camera or possibly close the door if it provides a cleaner background. This photograph was taken on a shoot for CNG Stone Products and shows off a beautiful countertop. The cabinets from Cougar Custom Cabinets look pretty great too.

Asking clients to provide testimonials show that you value the feedback of your clients and helps you build trust with your audience. Distributing these video testimonials on digital platforms is kind of like giving word of mouth marketing a mega-phone.

We love a good exterior photograph. This one was actually taken at sunrise. We remember this shoot because it was still cold outside, our tripod was set-up in the middle of the road, and we took so many different exposures while waiting for the sky to be perfect. We have observed the dedication and commitment that so many of our friends and clients have put into this project and we are thrilled to work with the Build Love team. Although it's on pause right now, we look forward to their next journey!

Shawn and the team at Haztech were meticulous in the planning of every detail of their new Health Centre. It was a joy to capture this perfect space. The colours, textures, and finishing details really did approach perfection. The Health Center has been open for a couple years and Haztech is one of Saskatchewan's leading occupational health and safety companies.

Loved these photo's from a shoot we did with Greg & Kim featuring their new build experience with Trademark Homes in Discovery Ridge. We originally met Greg & Kim when we photographed their wedding a few years ago. It was purely a coincidence that we got to work with them again on this project featuring life in Discovery Ridge This Easter weekend definitely has us thinking about warm sunny days and getting the kids back outside to play.

Consistency is one of the hardest things in marketing. Heck, it's one of the hardest things in life. How many times have you said I'll spend a hour every Sunday morning working on my business and planning out my week? And how many times has something else come up and taken your attention away from these important activities. Consistency in digital marketing is important for technical and practical reasons. The algorithms of all the social networks expect you to show up,... and they reward you for doing so Yes, pass go and collect $200 dollars. Google is looking for a website that is constantly providing customers with authentic and educational content. It also sets the tone for your customers. Showing up inconsistently is kind of like opening your coffee shop every day at 6 am, except for the days something comes up and you show up at 7. How long would your customers show up if that happened a few times a week? We began talking to Kate about revamping her online store kind of by accident, just as we were starting to social distance, but not quite when retailers started closing to the public. A conversation about what was required to enable Instagram Shopping turned into an online store revamp. From conversation to live online store took less than a week, and nothing makes us happier than visiting a clients web store and seeing a sold out sign on one or more of the products. Some...times your online commerce solution doesn't need to be a large or complex project. It never gets old seeing a photograph you take on a billboard! We loved working with Makris Family to photograph their restaurant. It really gave us a new appreciation to the richness and attention to detail that went into every aspect of the building's interior. From the ornate woodwork to the textured chair backs and the sparkling glassware. I could go on forever and I haven't even started talking about the food yet! The Diplomat Steakhouse is temporarily closed, but you can visit their new website and dream of the first delicious meal once they re-open. Sometimes simple and creative ideas can capture people's attention in a social feed. This simple animation shows that there is more to these beautiful custom cabinets by Chris Murray Custom Cabinets.

We always try to find a unique angle to show off a perspective that catches the eye just a little bit differently than your standard wide angle shot. We love photographing spaces styled by House Envy Interiors. They look great and often feature unique products from @uplusmehome :)

We love working with business owners to show their product in the best possible light. In this case, the client needed images for online sales through ebay and Amazon, so we knew a clean white background was a necessity. It was also important to show some product details like spacing variation on the double sided comb, so we created the magnified areas in a seperate image. This allowed potential consumers to see the product as a whole and also see the details that made it unique.

We recently documented a wedding in Mexico and I took this photo of Dean grabbing some footage of the amazing Dreams Huatulco Pool and Beach area. Whether we are capturing a wedding in a far away destination or a customer testimonial at home, we are always looking for an authentic and unique perspective for our clients.

We always have fun creating editorial product photography with our friends at Crocus & Ivy. Their store has so many great products, and we almost never leave without buying something for our kids or our home. Publishing product photography on social media can seem a bit overwhelming, and for good reason. It's like setting up your retail store on every potential customers cell phone.
