Dear CKM Vendors As mentioned in a previous email Christkindlmarkt has been cancelled this year due to the COVID restrictions. We have therefore decided to offer a VIRTUAL CRISTMASMARKET for all the people who come to visit this long standing Winnipeg Tradition every year. People are looking to be able to buy their favorite German Christmas treats and they also look to find interesting local crafts that make great gifts and stocking stuffers. For those people we are offer...ing a VIRTUAL CHRISTKINDLMARKT at https://christmasmarketwinnipeg.square.site and http://ckm.gccmb.ca In the section Seasonal Favorites we will be offering a section for CKM vendors. This site will be advertised on social media and through traditional media. We will also invite visitors directly through emails that we did collect over many years. If you are interested in selling your products through this website between November 25th and December 15th we need you to apply now. You can apply by clicking on this link https://christmasmarketwinnipeg.square.site/vendors Here you can also find the spreadsheet template to be completed with your product details. Once you have applied you will be given more information. There is no cost for the listing of your products on this special website however there is a sales commission of 20% on all sales that are done through the website. This covers the cost of setting up and maintaining the site, marketing, CC transaction fees and the fact that you do not have the cost of the table at the traditional event. What we need from you is simply a product listing in a spreadsheet format (template found at the above link) that includes the following information: Product Name, Product Description, Price, Fixed Shipping Cost/item, Image Name Number of Items available. All products sold on the website will offer 3 delivery options for the buyer to choose from: 1. Shipping by Canada Post 2. Delivery after Dec 15th by volunteers for a fixed amount of $10. 3. Pick Up at GCC Offices Option 1: will be chargeable during checkout and item will be shipped by each VENDOR. Option 2 and 3: VENDOR will prepare all items in labelled bags clearly indicating the buyer and drop them all off at the GCC Office before Dec 15th. The website offers credit card payment option and all products are paid when purchased online. GCC will collect all payments and pass them on to vendors after December 15th minus the agreed commission. If you like to sell your items on our Virtual Christkindlmarkt website please fill out the application and submit before November 10th 2020. Due to the pandemic we will be cancelling our Christkindlmarkt this year. It didn't make sense in holding an event where people could become ill and there was much to consider to keep people safe. We hope this time next year we will be able to plan for Christkindlmarkt and see everyone enjoying all the German treats. We are in the planning stage of a virtual market.
