I am excited to share the news that the Gerontology program will be profiled on CO-OP Radio (FM 100.5 Vancouver) on Thursday, May 14 at 4 pm in the first of two documentaries. Documentary Title Passing the Test: How the Field of Gerontology Enhances the Lives of Seniors Two Gerontology graduates (Claudia & Vivian), the Program Coordinator (Jeanette), and an Agency Practicum Supervisor (Yulanda Lui, Yarrow Intergenerational Society for Social Justice), as well as the resident of an assisted living residence (Rita’s very happy resident) share their views about the role education in Gerontology and graduates can play in enhancing the lives of older adults. The program will be posted to the CO-OP Radio website and the Gerontology webpage after if airs if you are unable to listen during the time it airs. Congrats to the first grads of the program!
