For International Women’s Day 2021, we are celebrating the achievements of extraordinary women in Saskatchewan who #ChooseToChallenge everyday. This is Cherilyn’s story.

Saskatchewan continues to have what the world needs! With months of strong increases in our export figures, we are better positioned than any other jurisdiction in Canada for a strong and vibrant economic recovery.

As evidenced in a recent economic impact study of the industry conducted by Western Economic Diversification Canada, this activity supports more than 500 companies, mostly small and mid-sized, predominantly in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The economic contribution may be lost in national GDP numbers but stands out in rural communities where the loss of 100 or 200 good middle-class manufacturing jobs can mean the senseless loss of economic viability for rural regions. https://policyoptions.irpp.org//the-serious-hidden-proble/
