Update with Good News! COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC NEXT WEEK - FEBRUARY 9-11, 2021! We have received confirmation that the COVID-19 Vaccine will be brought to our community. If you have not yet called us, and you are interested in getting the COVID-19 Vaccine, please reach out!... The Clinic will be Appointment Only, so it is very important to call. We will be taking calls for the COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic tomorrow from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. People scheduled will be called the day before for their appointment date and time. See more

In preparation of the upcoming COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic, Gesgapegiag Health and Community Services have prepared this COVID-19 Vaccine Information Package. This was distributed yesterday to each household in the community of Gesgapegiag as well. If you are interested in obtaining the COVID-19 vaccine, or have any questions about the vaccine or COVID-19, please contact us at 418-759-3431.

I want to give a huge thank you to the Team at GHCS for all their hard work this past week. All the activities was a huge success. It started with the Christmas parade: 288 games was delivered to each household, 280 treat bags given to the children. Over 100 care packages were delivered to the vulnerable population. Soup and sandwiches were delivered to the elders followed by a merchandise bingo. 50% of the card sales went towards the full card and the other 50% was donated t...o the elders lodge. To wrap up the week we had a safe delivery Christmas feast and the team prepared and delivered 700 meals tocommunity members. I'm so proud and so greatful to work with such an amazing group of people. I also want to thank everyone who cooked, your contribution help make this event successful.
