Hello MES students! Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of the semester :) GESSA invites all MES students to apply for the GESSA Executive Team 2021-2022. We have the following positions available:... 1. Chair (1 position) - Serves as the Chair at all General Meetings and Executive Meetings. Responsible for representing GESSA at various committees and councils at FEUC and York University at large 2. Operations Officer (1 position) - Responsible for writing GESSA meeting minutes and providing an agenda before all meetings. Also responsible for coordinating all internal communication 3. Finance Officer (1 position) - Responsible for maintaining the annual GESSA budget and all financial accounting. Serves as the contact person for all financial queries 4. Outreach Officer (1 position) - Responsible for curating and distributing all GESSA content to the student body. Leads the planning of all events and social activities 5. Research & Travel Fund (RTF) Officer (1 position) - Responsible for overseeing the RTF once every semester. This includes preparing the call for applications, reviewing and processing applications, coordinating payments, and helping connect students with other York funding opportunities We are asking for interested students to fill out this form: https://forms.gle/qdCavCdeQsQj3GoHA The application deadline is Friday May 14th at 5pm. World Town Planning Day is quickly approaching and this year OPPI is hosting an Ontario planning school scavenger hunt! The idea is to showcase planning across Ontario, regardless of where you are living.
