GET A GRIP is a one person operation. It started in 2018 with a dream to produce the best chalk on the market while keeping the price low. My business grows in two ways. One, individuals put their faith in my product and purchase from my website gogetagrip.ca. Or they can buy it at one of my retail partners who purchased my chalk wholesale and put their trust in me to provide a quality product at a reasonable price. I have contacted over 200 gyms this month with a friendly he...llo, introducing them to GET A GRIP. Only a handful have replied. With the holidays around the corner and gyms are promoting support local business it would make my year if they took some of that enthusiasm and opened a dialogue with me. I am trying to get my chalk into the hands of every Canadian athlete and can only do that with the support of local businesses like yours, taking a chance on a quality local product. Our chalk is handmade in small batches in Ottawa Ontario. We are proud to be local to Ottawa and believe producing how we do is the only way. Our competitors purchase in bulk from China. It is all the same generic chalk from every Canadian and American company. Our chalk is superior. Our chalk is hypoallergenic and is anti COVID since it qualifies as a hand sanitizer. I’m amazed more gyms haven’t caught on how important this is in 2020. Our chalk is the first to be pigmented with natural pigments. We did this on purpose as a drying gauge. It starts black and dries to white when ready. Our chalk outperforms and outlasts all of the cheap generic Chinese clones out there. I’ve tried every brand and they simply don’t cut the mustard.
