The unilateral overhead carry or farmers walk, is a movement where one side of the body has all the weight while the other side must work to keep your body stable and complete the movement Find a weight that works for you, go heavy. Lift the weight above your head, use your core and back to stabilize your arm and shoulder. Start your walk and switch arms - make sure to leave your ego at the door and take your time! We’re bringing some spice to our meal prep this week with this Crock Pot Chicken Tomatillo -8 to 10 (dependent on size) chicken thighs -1tbsp of apple cider vinegar -1tsp dried oregano... -1tsp olive oil -1 1/2 cups of Tomatillo sauce -salt and pepper -juice from 1 lime -1 bag of mixed peppers and onions (or use fresh) from @superstore -1 package of sliced mushrooms -1 can of green chillies Toppings- tomatoes, cilantro, cheese and/or avocados for some healthy fats Toss all of these ingredients in the crock pot, stir and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4. No one likes to run around the gym looking for things that people didn’t put away when they need it. When you’re done with a weight, re-rack it..don't be that asshole 2Before you’re done putting the equipment back where you found it, wipe it down! No one wants all your germs and sweat on their hands and cl...othes, no offence 3Personal space. For the sake of your workout and safety, and honestly for respect of others, find a space that has enough room for everything you need to get done during your workout and get it done 4Once you find your space, use it and move on. Don’t sit at a machine with a bunch of weights around you for 30 minutes. Do what you gotta do and move on 5 Social cues - see someone you know with their headphones in? Do a quick wave or hello and keep moving. We’re all busy and don’t always have a lot of time. Using cold and winter days to try new recipes like this new beef stew that will keep us nice and toasty, from the inside out All you need.. 3lbs of chuck beef, cut into 1 inch pieces Olive oil... 1 1/2 cup beef broth 1 cup dry red wine 2tbsp tomato paste 1tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2tbsp balsamic vinegar 1tsp dried thyme 1tsp salt Lots of fresh ground pepper 6 garlic gloves, minced 1 large yellow onion, cut into chunks 4-5 carrots, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch slices 1lbs Yukon gold potatoes, 1/2-inch cubes 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 cup frozen peas How to make In a large skillet, sear the beef with olive oil and salt and pepper. Once cooked, transfer to the slow cooker. Add in beef broth, wine, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, thyme, salt and pepper. Stir until well combined, add in your garlic, onion, carrots and potatoes. Cook for 7 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high. Once cooked, remove 1 cup of beef broth from the slow cooker and transfer to a measuring cup. Whisk in the flour and add back into the slow cooker and stir.
