Today marks the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight into space, the first human that left our planet. It is still one of the most remarkable milestones in science and engineering in human history. Today, any rich douchebag can buy a seat on top of a rocket, and soon we will travel to space as we go on a cruise today. It is still an advanture, but back then it was madness to strap yourself to the top of a rocket. They told him that he had a 50:50 chance to return alive and in one piece. He took his chances. They later told him that his actual chances were closer to 30%. I still wonder how they managed to haul those brass cojones into space. Let's salute Yuri Gagarin and hope that we will see a human set foot on another planet in our lifetime. Поехали!

March 11th marks the one-year anniversary since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Sunday at 6pm, we light a candle to honour t...he memory of those who died from COVID-19, reflect on the past year, and celebrate the hope that lies ahead. This will be in the square at Stratford City Hall. If you would like to attend, feel free to bring a candle and prepare to practice safe social distancing!

We picked up trash around the commun...ity and recycled everything we could to show our love for the earth and our environment. Do something every day to improve our community and small section of the universe!
