Jo...b opportunities are part time leading to full time. Our Trainers are a constant reflection of our company’s commitment to safety and customer service. The 'DZ' class Driver Trainer is responsible for training and educating students about safety and compliance regulations 'behind the wheel'. Trainer Responsibilities: *Must know how to operate a manual truck with double clutching. *Training and upgrading for related classified licenses and maintenance of all related records *Provides behind-the-wheel training to new operators or re-training of current operators; *There may be some inside classroom work but majority of time spent outside and in a truck Trainer Required Experience and Skills: *Must have a clean driving record with minimum of three years free of any preventable accidents and violations *Demonstrate interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and to communicate both verbally and in writing with trainees, employees and management *Presentation and coaching skills *Pleasant demeanor with an unwavering commitment to safety; *Self-motivated, must demonstrate a strong team effort; *High school diploma or equivalent *Flexibility to work mixed hours *Willing to travel to other cities *Familiarity with Highway Traffic Act, Health and Safety practices is a must *Willing to learn Northern Safety and Training policies, procedures, vehicles and equipment.
