The New Westminster Firefighters’ Charitable Society invites you to bring your Christmas tree to a drive-thru tree chipping event on Saturday, Jan. 2 and Sunday, Jan. 3 from 10am to 3pm in the Canada Games Pool parking lot. Donations can be made by tapping your debit card or by cash. You won't need to leave your car, but do remember to wear your mask. The proceeds of the fundraiser will be dispersed to local charities.

Thank you to everyone who voted in our charity vote! We asked G&F employees and members to vote on their favourite charity to give a total of $20,000. The results are in! NightShift Street Ministries - $5,000 AutismBC - $8,500 Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society - $4,000... We also selected a G&F employee at random to give $2,500 to a local registered charity of their choice. They chose to donate it to the Dixon Society!
