Who else has baking plans this weekend? :)

Wishing you all a very happy Easter weekend! Here's our recipe for a light and tender carrot cake, perfect for the dessert table!

Sometimes a lighter meal like soup or salad needs a bit of something extra to make it feel hearty. It’s been a while since we made these savoury muffins with cheddar and red chili flakes. Mmm!

What are your favourite ways to eat toast? There are so many options! We made a fresh loaf of our #glutenfree sandwich bread so we took half a ripe avocado mashing half with a bit of salt and pepper and slicing the rest. Garnished with a bit more salt, a crack of fresh pepper and a couple sprinkles of red chilli flakes. Yum! #glutenfreelife #avocadotoast #feedfeedglutenfree #glutenfreebread #gfpatisserieflour #gfpatisserie #whatceliacseat

We know what we’re making this weekend...gluten free #tempura! This recipe is also egg and dairy free, and you can use it for pretty much anything. The only question, what sauce to dip it all in? Thanks Sarah @kneadedglutenfreebakeshop for the recipe! Ingredients:... 2 cups @gfpatisserie gluten free all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda - tsp salt 2 cups sparkling water (or club soda) Oil for frying (we used peanut oil) Meat, seafood, or vegetables You'll also need: Deep fryer, dutch oven, or large pot Tongs, or a fork with a long handle Spider skimmer, or a slotted spoon Method: 1) Preheat oil to 375 degrees F. 2) In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. 3) Add the sparkling water (or club soda) and mix until well combined. 4) Dip your prepared meat, seafood, or vegetables in the batter and coat using tongs or a fork with a long handle. 5) Place a few pieces in the oil, without overcrowding the pot, and cook until lightly golden brown. 6) Remove from oil with a spider skimmer or a slotted spoon, and transfer to a baking sheet or dish lined with paper towel. 7) Serve hot. #glutenfreerecipes #whatceliacseat #glutenfreefood #dairyfreerecipes #gfpatisserie #gfpatisserieflour #glutenfreeflour
