I am overwhelmed with the support of so many. There have been a significant number of people asking for "Just one more pizza!!" We are stocked and ready for this weekend as a last chance for those that wanted more. We will be open for dinner from 4pm to 10pm in both Peterborough and in Norwood for Friday and Saturday night. To my family, friends and our amazing fans. In the last few weeks I have been struggling with some health issues. After a Doctor’s appointment yesterday and in speaking with those closest to me, I have come to the very difficult decision of ceasing operations at both the Peterborough and Norwood shops. There are buyers in the wings and we are negotiating for Gotta Havva Pizza to continue. Unfortunately, I will not be able to continue on as part of it. I recently started talk...ing much more about my mental health challenges and stress has caused these challenges to come to the forefront. I am bipolar and suffer from anxiety. These two combined have caused me to start to suffer from physical ailments. I have been a diagnosed sufferer of bipolar disorder for many years. I thought it was fully under control and it has not been for some time. I have tried to ignore it and tough it out. It was an illusion. The smile I have on my face is forced and there have been some dark moments in the last few weeks. I have recently started a podcast talking about mental health and it was in this process that I came to the startling realization how much trouble I was actually in. I am thankful for those that have participated in that process. I have always envisioned that all of my projects and family were much like spinning plates up in the air. I felt as though I had them all spinning just fine. They have started to crash down around me and I can’t seem to keep up. So many things are falling by the wayside and it’s not healthy for me or my family. For the fans, we will be open all weekend and we will run as long as supplies last. I encourage you to come and get some of the best pizza around while we are open for this last weekend. We will close on Sunday night for the last time under my ownership. For the past week I have been stringing along a scammer who sent me an email asking for us to make a huge party dinner for 80 people. The total bill was to be almost $1000. The scam is that he also asked me to process another $2950 for me to send to his "courier" by e-transfer. I played along to the point where he finally gave me "his" credit card. This credit card belongs to someone out there who banks with BMO. I called BMO and spoke to the fraud department. If you suddenl...y find your BMO Mastercard is blocked. Might have been me saving you almost $4000 in fraudulent charges. I requested a new credit card as this one was somehow coming back as declined... He was so sure he had me on the hook...He gave me another credit card number. That one came back to an RBC Visa card. If you suddenly found your card not working...might have been me again...another $4000 saved. At this point I was sure he would figure out that I was in fact scamming him...Nope... I received yet another Visa card number. This time it was a US Chase Bank Visa. That card has now been blocked and that customer is being notified that their card was compromised and that $4000 was being asked to be charged to it. I am currently awaiting the next card number so I can report that one compromised. Be careful out there with your credit cards.

Local restaurant owners: I received this email on Saturday night. It is a scam. Be cautious. "Hello,... This Williams Anthony, I will like to know if i can make a place for take away order food for 80 guests, it will be picked up on the 13th of march by 5.45pm. please kindly attach with a menu & get back to me if you can fill this order for me. Thanks, Williams." See more

Alright fans, anyone interested in this new pizza we're looking at putting on the menu?

After careful consideration and listening to our customers, we've decided to fire Skip The Dishes. Today was the last incident I was willing to accept. We had a customer place an order at 11:13am. The Skip app told us we had 30 minutes to prepare the order. We have the food ready at the 30 minute mark and the driver didn't show up until 12:15. We've remade the food and contacted the customer. Unacceptable. We've heard from numerous customers that Skip was late, food was col...d and drivers were rude(to both our staff and you). In the last year we've processed approximately $33,000 in orders through Skip. They've taken their 25% of that ($8250). That doesn't include the "credits" we get when we have to remake food because of how late the are. Then they charge us "fines" if we make their drivers wait for the food we are now remaking. Out of that $33,000 we deduct labour and food costs. We end up with nothing. Zero. We lose money. As a small local business, we cannot afford to continue to lose money using this service. As of right now, please call us directly to place your orders. We will be bringing in the driver's we need to meet your demand. That all said, hiring delivery drivers.
