Conservation Officers have received reports of a grizzly bear around the Trans Canada or Dawson trail, approximately 20 km south of Braeburn. Hunters, trappers..., and others in the area should be aware of this bear activity and take all necessary precautions. Make sure you are carrying bear spray and that it's kept warm (e.g. under your coat next to your body) and accessible. If you are hunting, stay alert while in and around the kill site. Sad to hear about the Yukon Quest being cancelled this year but it was necessary!

Wow! We have 16k of road construction through Braeburn area which are manned by workers with pilot vehicle from 6am til 6pm. Two roll overs in two days Mon.am and this am unfortunately fatal. Alcohol , Speed ,loose gravel !Smarten up people!Geeze!
