Important information regarding the Sunshine Coast Trail: As of right now, Recreation Sites & Trails is informing the public that all facilities where peo...ple gather and are in contact with frequently touched surfaces will remain closed. These closures apply to overnight shelters and backcountry huts across the Sunshine Coast. If you live on the #SunshineCoastBC, or are planning a future trip later this summer, the Sunshine Coast Trail is open for hiking use (north to south only!) and you can camp in designated areas. Trail users are reminded to maintain a safe physical distance of two metres, carry out their own garbage, are responsible for their own safety. To all Valuable Guests, We are delighted to share that Gibsons Garden Hotel will re-open to all travelers with reduced salable rooms starting from June 1st. International travelers still must postpone their trips unless they are considered essential businesses. Great appreciation to all the essential workers who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic. We can not get to this stage without their efforts and dedication. We continue to closely follow our local, provincial..., and federal health authority guidelines and reopening guidelines. Our team understands the challenges during this pandemic and continually puts their best effort to maintain our facility as a home away from home. We are continually retaining strong to suit the NEW NORMAL to our daily work and life, and happy to see you around the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Here are the things you might need to know before planning your trip. Our swimming pool, sauna, and fitness room will be available since June 1st with a maximum limit of 2 families sharing the space based on reservation. Please reserve your time slot for using the above facilities with our front desk agent. Our continental breakfast will remain closed until further notice. Please help us to ensure all guests’ safety by following the key protocols. At this stage, all checkout rooms will remain vacant for 2 days before re-renting in order to maximize the protection for the next guests and staff. O-zone generator may be used while the room is vacant. There will also be no room service or stayover room cleaning during this stage. All long-term guests need to arrange for garbage pickup, towel changes, and amenities refill with Front Desk staff. All hotel high traffic areas will be sanitized regularly throughout the day. Please maintain 2 meters (6 feet) of social distance from others. Wearing a mask can help protect you and others by containing your own droplets from coughing, sneezing, speaking, or laughing. Note: some people can spread the virus when they have very mild symptoms or may be unaware. If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness (fever, trouble breathing, coughing, sore throat, fatigue, running nose) please postpone your visit until you are well. We continue to monitor the current global health situation with COVID-19 and as a result, are proactively preparing and implementing a number of contingency plans to ensure that we keep our team members safe while supporting our customers with excellence. This incredibly important effort is being led by a task force that is now fully dedicated ...to COVID-19 contingency planning. Our housekeeping team is thoroughly disinfecting each checkout guest room and frequently sanitizing the door handles and surfaces in common areas. It is a hard decision for us to temporarily close our swimming pool, fitness room, dry sauna, and the business room until further notice. Our breakfast room will also be closed according to government recommendations, in order to reduce the chance of trans infection and public gatherings. March 21st,2020 will be the last day to serve our complimentary continental breakfast. For your protection and maximizing social distance, we are asking all the guests who stay for at least two nights to call the front desk for towel change the night before, tie the garbage bag and leave the garbage can outside the room. For all protection, we will reduce the chance to enter the occupied guests’ rooms. Please note: we will only enter the rooms with the MAID sign on the door handle. Last weekend we celebrated Angie & Nick's wedding with everyone amongst the flourishing gardens. It was such a beautiful day and we look forward to welcoming many more weddings to come! Congratulations!

Lots of laughs and smiles were had around here the last couple of weeks with the cast and crew of Hallmarks new movie "All Summer Long" starring Autumn Reeser & Brennan Elliott. A great group of people! We're looking forward to seeing the movie and features of our beautiful town

Here we go again! Hallmark is filming "All Summer Long" in Gibsons for 11 days and we have the honour of housing all the cast and crew. We made welcome bouquets for the leading lady (Autumn Reeser) and leading male (Brennan Elliott) from the flourishing gardens.

Such a fun group of ladies from "Piecemakers". They used our meeting room for a weekend and worked together quilting a variety of items while having a good time with each other. Some are sold to donate the money to Aids organizations in Africa.

Meet the lady in red! This fun couple stayed here to perform at the 100th Anniversary Remembrance Day Service at the Gibsons Legion Nov 11th. There were red feathers found for days after.

One of our residents got married!! We couldn't be happier for the lovely couple. First marriage for both of them.
