Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted on Wrapped by Nikki mainly due to COVID-19 and having to adjust working from home which had its challenges of getting into a suitable routine. Do you struggle with wrapping a circular or cylinder shaped item? The best way to tackle this shape is to manipulate the paper to create beautiful spaced out pleats. Using patterned paper is best, but for the purposes of demonstration I've used brown craft paper which is eco friendly. Another style of bottle wrapping. This time I've used festive tissue paper laid on cellophane and pleated around the bottle. I've added extra depth by adding two plumes of contrasting tissue paper and finished off with red curling ribbon. This will be a gift for the host of a dinner party tonight. The use of wrapping paper. Nothing is worse than having a bulky gift to open wrapped in loads of wrapping paper which is a total waste. Instead why not measure out your paper and cut enough to cover the gift ensuring the sides can be tucked in. This will make your gift more presentable, less bulky and a neat finish.... Try and find eco/recycled paper to do your bit for the environment. Happy wrapping.
