Just a reminder Don’t forget tomorrow is the last day to drop off filled shoeboxes Please make sure to put the tag/label (boy or girl, and mark what age group).... Secure your box with a rubber band or a scotch tape in the middle of the box. Please don’t seal it too tight. Samaritan’s Purse packing group will have to inspect each boxes to make sure all items are good to go. I will also have to put your child’s art/craft work and a special note inside the boxes. Don’t forget the $10 per box donation, DO NOT put it inside the box please. You can hand the cash to me if you’re paying cash and I can pay online for the group. OR if you’re paying with a check, please fill in the info attached and put it in together with the check inside this envelope (tear it off from the brochure). I can post your checks for you. Thank you again for all your help and participation to this special activity.
The silly wackies
Today’s menu Everyone ate good and not a drop of soup left and the bread was gone in a flash The breakfast pot was cleared too. They said I should cook more oatmeal as this is the bestest oatmeal ever.... Oatmeal - 4 to 5c water, 3c rolled oats, 1/4c pure maple syrup, 1/4c brown sugar, 2T coconut oil, 2T milled flax seeds, 1T cinnamon, 1/2t nutmeg, 1/2t salt Toppings (I let them put their own toppings) - superseeds, raisins, cocoa nibs, fresh fruits Chicken Noodle Soup - home made chicken stock, carrots, celery, zucchini, onion, garlic, ginger, bay leaf, thyme, parsley, rosemary, green onion, salt and pepper. I Cooked the noodles/pasta separately as I have to do a gluten free one for one kid and myself.
Today’s menu Everyone ate good and they asked if they can have the same thing again for tomorrow They cleaned out everything for today and maybe will just serve them light snacks for later.... I was able to save a serving of each for my breakfast And lunch. The kids said, I can always eat salad for my lunch when I showed them the empty rice pot and serving bowl
