Growing in spirit and in truth!! Human walking in the flesh, is fickle!! This is what I have for you this morning. It's a message, to really check ourselves, me included, because I am guilty!! Reading the scripture this morning had me thinking...it was about love and saying we love God, our brothers, sisters and what that means. It also spoke about His never changing love for us, no matter what we do!!!!... In that moment, this came back to me. Often times we treat people differently because we are upset with them, they may have different believes, their skin etc. This is one big one I am guilty of. When I am pleased with someone, I called them the nicest names, even shorten the names in all different variations. You with me? This is most times with our friends who we say we love, ain't it? For example, that friend Diana, is called Diii, Ana, A, cherry plum, apple juice and the works!! But when we are mad at them, we tend to go back to the straight first name no shortening basis. It's like that one thing/s they have done, makes he/she not good in our fleshly walk, not deserving. We forget all the good that they did. Right, sounds familiar?!! But that's how the human fleshly walk is. I asked myself this in the moment of my study...what if God treated us like this? What if everytime we did something wrong, His love shifted for us? Would our lives be the same today? Would we have the promise that He lives on and died for our sins, if he was fickle like we are? The next time you are faced with a situation/s like this, pause, asked yourself, what would God do? Is your love for that person shifted because of that one scenario? Did you really love that person or are we using the word 'love' loosely? You see, God's love for us is never changing because He walks in spirit and truth. When He says He loves us, that doesn't changes!! In order for us to do different and have that never changing love, we must also walk in spirit and in truth. It's only then, we can truly love our brothers and sisters. That unconditional kind of love!!! Let's start checking ourselves!!! #awordfromthedivine #spirituality #spiritualawakening
