8 years ago, a garment factory in Bangladesh collapsed killing over 1000 people and injuring more than 2000. As a result, fashion revolution week was created as a way to highlight the inhumane conditions makers endure to satisfy our need for cheap and fast clothing. The fashion industry can be a very dark place where businesses and manufacturers gaslight creating a beautiful compelling story, but they fail to match their image with a commitment to care not only for their cus...tomer who wears the clothing, but for the person who makes it. Damaging pollutants like plastics and polyesters also cause irreversible damage to our planet. We know that learning and improving never stops, but our priority is building trust with you. We aim to be impeccable with our word and as transparent as possible as we believe this is the only way to be a sustainable business long term. The good news is you have SO much power as a consumer in the choices you make. You don’t need to be radical or perfect to make a difference. You can ask simple questions about where your clothing is made, what it’s made from and who makes it.
