WOW!! We are totally overflowing with gratitude Thank you so much to this amazing community who came out in the masses to show their support yesterday!! And THANK YOU so VERY VERY much to Krista and Chris at Green Acre Variety who donated absolutely EVERYTHING, their time, all the ingredients, containers, gave up an evenings worth of pizza, nacho orders etc. All to benefit the GCC!! You guys are AMAZING!! Chris, your sauce was delicious!!! Another HUGE HUGE thank you goes ...out to the kitchen crew-Heather, Bobbi, Cindy, Krista & Shannon who were literally run off their feet in the kitchen as we were absolutely HAMMERED with orders for 2 1/2 hrs straight lol. What a fantastic team! Thanks to all community members who were extra patient & understanding while waiting for their orders. I don’t have all the numbers yet, but I know we served over 150+orders!!! That’s a lot of spaghetti!! In a time when spirits are low and times are tough, it’s community that brings us together and that’s been a difficult thing to pull off throughout this past year. Tomorrow is the BIG day!! We are so excited for this fantastic fundraiser:) Come on down to Green Acre Variety 475-5631 between 4-6:30pm and pick up your Spaghetti Dinner takeout! Meal includes: spaghetti & meat sauce, salad, garlic bread and dessert! 15$ per adult, 10$ per child age 10 & under. Proceeds directly support the Gillies Community Centre. No need to cook dinner AND you can support the GCC = WIN WIN!!

Hello friends and neighbours! This post is just to let you know that all upcoming events will only happen IF we are permitted to host them. At this point we are only planning for possibilities of a less restricted future:) That being said, be sure to follow us for updates as events may be cancelled or rescheduled on short notice. Spread the word, not the COVID!

This clinic needs a minimum of 10 participants to run. Please share, as this is a needed service in our community. *course running is also dependent upon the lockdown being lifted

A BIG thank you to all the organizers, crafters, artisans, vendors, patrons and the volunteers who came to our Holiday Market today!! Over 60 ppl attended this wonderfully organized and covid safe event. Between table rentals and other donations, we raised over 225$ to pay the bills:) This was our last event for 2020, Happy Holidays one and all! From your GCC Executive Board
