Santa paid a visit to the Giovanni Caboto Club to bring a present to all the good boys and girls of the Caboto Club. Before he left to go back to the North Pole, he wanted to let the kids know that he and Mrs. Claus were so happy to see them and to let them know that they are all on the good list once again this year! Santa will be taking all of the precautions when he makes his rounds on Christmas Eve. He will be wearing his mask and as essential people, he and Mrs. Claus have already received their vaccinations, so make sure you are in bed early on Christmas Eve! Merry Christmas everyone!

Some of us at the Giovanni Caboto Club were born in Canada and for some of us, Canada became our home of choice, but all of us will take the time during this week of remembrance to thank those brave Canadians who paid the ultimate price during the liberation of Italy. This year, we would also like to remember the Partigiani Italiani, The Italian Partisans. Men and women who helped the allies in their efforts to liberate Italy from fascist occupation. As part of the underground, they were not accorded protection by international treaty and many who were captured were summarily executed. Their sacrifice and the sacrifice of the Canadian soldiers were the beginnings of Italy's liberation and growth into what is now, the Republic of Italy. Thank you Canada, Thank you Partigiani. We Remember!
