Dear Campers, Parents/Guardians, Volunteers and Counsellors: On March 12, 2020, the Provincial Government issued a Ministerial Order, which results in all publicly funded schools in Ontario being closed from March 14 to April 5, 2020. This is in response to the emergence of the COVID-19 in Ontario. The intent of this shutdown is to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the general population. In addition to schools being closed, the Community Use of Schools, including programs sche...duled to run over March Break, has been banned and we will not be allowed use of the school for Girls Rock Camp this March Break. THEREFORE, CAMP IS CANCELLED. We are very saddened by the fact that camp will not be able to run, but we respect the choice of the school boards to make this decision to keep our community safe. We are currently looking into the possibility of running a summer camp for a week this coming summer. All campers that are currently registered with us will have first dibs to summer camp if it can run, or 2021 March Break. If you have already paid the registration fee for camp, we will refund you via e-transfer. All the funds that we have fundraised for camp this year will stay in the reserves and be used to run the next camp session. If you are looking for alternative activities during the break, our Guitar counsellor Emma BV, can offer guitar lessons over FaceTime or Skype. Excited to announce that we now have a Girls Rock Camp Guelph website!

New merch alert! We have crewneck sweaters and tanks to keep all of you fine folks fashionable. Made at the one and only Alpine Print Company.... Crewnecks are $30 and tanks are $20. Email us at [email protected] to place your order or try them on in-person this Saturday at Brothers Brewing Company between 3 and 5pm. The sweaters are super cozy. We promise!

We would like to thank Kazoo! Fest for all of the support they have provided us throughout the years. When we first started, the awesome crew developed an on-going fundraising endeavour by selling earplugs at each of their shows. They partnered with us in presenting fundraising concerts and have supplied a performance slot at each festival for our campers to play. Kazoo is a prime example of how to bridge arts into a community and collaborate with new creative minds to buil...d mind-blowing, beautifully insprirational experiences across all ages.
