#grrad day - YOU DID IT! We couldn’t be happier with how y’all showed up and supported our little challenge. We borrowed this idea from @sheshreds_media #1rad as a way to build community and connect. We can’t wait to bring the GRR magic in person - if you haven’t attended a camp or showcase - you must! But we certainly felt a sprinkle of it this month. Thank you @lethgrc, our friends and most of all everyone who posted. You are brave and amazing - and keep sharing your talents!
Huge #grrad for our friends @jenaik1 @officedadd @ambergoodgolly @goodgollymissdolly @jaecybells @loelcampbell and @cazimi_lillith who took time out of their day to share some really great Cool Tips with us! There were a few more we didn’t get posted, but I think we’ll add them all to the GRR YouTube channel.
Our final spin of the prize-a-tron-3000 revealed 3 winners! @abbykaitlynmusic @livin.thing @jori_cachene - you all receive a @bandcamp GC and GRR swag! Congrats and thanks for posting
Friends - if you’ve purchased a mug/tee/pin, we’ll deliver later this week - or once the polar vortex ends. And if you haven’t, buy our merch and support the important work of the @rsacsupport
#grrad Day 30 - It’s the last day, so let’s go out with a bang! Post, post, post and let’s celebrate all the amazing talent we’ve shared this month. And maybe we should hand out a few more prizes?
Happy #grrad Day 13! Let’s play a game. Tag a friend, band member, artist etc...to share a post (who hasn’t posted yet). The first, new tagged person who posts will win a prize - and so will you! Keep rocking and get tagging. You’re awesome
#grrad Day 29 - We know you have 2 more posts in you - or give us your first 2! The finish line is near
#grrad Day 28 - We’re almost at the end. You got this!
#grrad Day 12. ...keep posting.
Can you believe it’s already #grrad Day 11? Here’s a handy tip from GRR Bass instructor and all around lovely human @officedadd. Keep posting and sharing - and check out our merch fundraiser for @rsacsupport - get yourself a rad tee or mug!
GRR is Spring cleaning for a cause ! We have a few tees of limited sizes from previous years that we’d love to see on your bods. Suggested donation of $15 and $10 from every tee will go to support Regina Sexual Assault Centre. We’re also donating $1 from every mug! Check the sizes available in the comments and DM us to order (shipping cost will be added to orders outside Regina). #grrad
These lil cuties are going to live with @jen_sister_stranger today. But we also have some for sale! Mugs are $15 and pins are $5. DM us and we can hook you up! #grrad
Who wants to give this a go? Any level welcome. Just a chance to play, have fun and you can even win prizes! Sign up info at the link. Mentors, campers, GRR friends and lovers - let's do it!
Tonight would have been Bandcamp 10!!! So fortunate for the incredible organizers, musicians and attendees that have shared the love with us in past years . Rock out in your own way! Support local, shop Bandcamp and contribute to orgs that are helping others during the pandemic.
Happy Holidays friends! Still time to share your feedback for 2021 programming and be entered to win a GRR prize pack! https://forms.gle/wunxfFSNxXhHLu9E8
Hello friends - we've missed you so much! With so much going on in the world, and not being able to host our kid's camp, we decided to take a break and look after ourselves and our loved ones. But as 2020 comes to a close (WOOHOO!), our thoughts turn to the year ahead. ... Please help us plan for 2021 and answer this short survey. What would you like to see from us if we cannot host in-person camps? Any workshop ideas, areas of focus, feedback would be super helpful. And, everyone who completes a survey by December 31 will be entered to win a GRR prize pack (T-shirt/enamel pin/camping mug/stickers and a few other surprise goodies)! Thanks for your support and we look forward to hearing from you! https://forms.gle/mWguxBwqj94EhXQEA
Tristen Durocher is now about three weeks into his hunger strike as he tries to raise awareness of the high rate of suicides in Northern Saskatchewan. Tristen, ...24, walked more than 600 kilometers from Air Ronge, SK to Regina where he has set up a teepee at Wascana Park. Surrounding the teepee are photos of suicide victims. The images serve as a grim reminder of the suicide epidemic in the north. We spoke recently to Tristen about his journey. Walking With Our Angels
This will be very cool and you should totally go!
