Welcome to the Canadian Women's Kite Foil Clinic page! Here you will see news regarding this summer's clinic including how to become involved in supporting the initiative and also how to become a participant. The clinic is meant to be the spark which is needed to attract more female athletes to the sport of Kite Foiling, a discipline of kite-boarding. ... Kite Foiling has been admitted into the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as a mixed (Female/Male) event within Sailing. We hope to increase the number of female athletes in the sport to build a competitive team for Paris 2024. La Fédération Française de Voile a lancé cette année le programme Elles de Kite - Horizon 2024 pour accompagner la performance féminine en vue des Jeux... Olympiques de Paris 2024 . Cette opération a reçu le soutien de la Française des Jeux via son programme "Sport pour Elles" . Retrouvez en vidéo les images du stage à La Grande Motte, en Juillet dernier! #SportPourEllesFDJ #Generation2024 / FDJ Grace à ce programme, la FFVoile propose, dans un premier temps, à toutes les licenciées de 13 à 23 ans des stages d'initiation et d'apprentissage de la compétition en kiteboard Foil . Suivront ensuite des stages d'entrainement sur ce même support . L'objectif du programme est de détecter les talents féminins tricolores et de les accompagner dans la performance jusqu'aux Jeux Olympiques en 2024 , les premiers à accueillir le Kiteboard dans un format de relais mixte . A successful 2nd & 3rd day at the WKFC! Thanks to our coach Robinson, everyone is making big gains Day 2 started with a workout & yoga session at Breakwater park followed by some foil towing behind the coach boat as we patiently waited for wind. Luckily the breeze picked up for us in the afternoon and we were able to get out on the water. ... Day 3 started with some on-land training focused on flying race kites. We then hit the water for a breezy day of kiting. We are so stoked to see so many of our athletes crushing it on the foil and improving every day! Kicked Off Day 1 of the WKFC with some on-land lessons with coach Robinson followed by a long on-water session. Shoutout to Wind Athletes Canada for lending us their coach boat! We started the water session with some twin tipping to get everyone back up to speed, and then went into some foiling. We were so stoked to see everyone crushing it on the foil Shoutout to F-One Canada & Kitebroker for providing us with all of our gear! We finished the day with a BBQ and luckily... we had our Trailhead Kingston tent to keep us dry from the rain. Stay tuned for updates #GirlsWhoFoil

Tomorrow is the first day of our 2019 Women's Kite-Foil Clinic and we could not be more excited! We have six athletes joining us from across Canada for four days of training.
