Parents/Guardians: A second individual at our school has tested positive for COVID-19. At this time, there is no evidence of transmission at the school so The Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit is not declaring an outbreak at the school. The health unit has followed up to isolate all students and staff who have had a high-risk exposure. Our school remains OPEN and is operating on the regular daily schedule. Please check your email for a letter that was sent by the school on behalf of the health unit. General public information can be found here: http://bit.ly/388RjMY

There is no direction to close schools or move to distance learning after the holiday break, however we have asked staff to remind students to bring home any of their personal belongings to minimize the number of personal items that are left at school. Read the full update: http://ow.ly/jwjF50CP5HH
Indoor playdates should be virtual or postponed for now. Being close together with no masks should only be done with household members. Although they may see th...ose same children at school the difference is that schools have many layers of precautions in place that reduce the risk of spreading the virus. Playdates can happen outdoors IF the activity allows for physical distancing like sledding or building separate snow forts. Schools are essential let’s protect them so they can stay open. See more
