For the 2021 boating season, the Marina will be a private, members only marina and closed to the general public. There are two types of memberships purchasable: Docking Membership and Launching Membership. These memberships are to be purchased in tandem with either a seasonal dock or an unlimited boat launch pass. Our Marina website will be live this weekend (we'll notify when it's viewable). It will have all membership, docking and launching information available including rates and forms. Thank you for your patience as we get the website running.

GGM will be releasing more information later this week about the possibility of opening for the 2021 boating season. Thank you for your show of interest.

Please share!! Update on Gitchee Gumee Marina Please be advised that due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, the Ontario Government has mandated the closures of all non-essential services. Gitchee Gumee Marina falls under this closure. As well, the Batchawana Bay Safe Harbours Association’s lease expires on May 15, 2020. Given these challenging times and on going uncertainty, the BBSHA in collaboration with the Owners of the Marina, has made the decision to close the Gitchee Gumee Mar...ina for the 2020 boating season. This means there will be no access to the boat launch for the 2020 season as well. On behalf of the BBSHA we would like to thank the Yourchuk family for allowing us to operate the Marina for the past 6 year. We look forward to working with them in the future. The gates are officially open at Gitchee Gumee Marina for the 2019 boating season! Batchawana Bay Safe Harbours Association is a non- profit organization which was formed by a group of boaters at the marina to promote tourism, community service and safe boating by facilitating access to, from and on Batchawana Bay. We need your help Please consider purchasing a membership which supports the Association and helps with the upkeep of the marina.... Do you know we sell launch passes? No need to carry money every time you launch your boat. Buy our launch pass for $155. This includes our $40 membership We are always looking for new members. If you do use our boat launch, please remember that all money collected goes towards our yearly lease. We appreciate those who pay the launch fee every time you launch your boat. Of course we do have some boaters that feel they are exempt from this launch fee or who choose to pay whatever amount they feel like. Please remember by failing to pay the required amount, you are only putting the future of this marina in jeopardy. We have a lease to pay and count on all money collected to help.
