Many Islands

Many Islands Campground and Boat Launch was reopened for the season on May 1st, 2021. Unfortunately we are still in the thick of the Covid-19 pandemic. In light of this, we ask that everyone still remain diligent in practicing social distancing (6 feet apart) and take every precaution that is necessary to keep everyone safe. If you are sick or have been in contact with someone who has or my have Covid-19 please reschedule your visit. ... If you are choosing to visit Many Islands please know that you are doing so at your own risk. Nothing is sanitized regularly but you may use self supplied disinfectant wipe to do so if you choose. There are practices and procedures posted at various places throughout the park on suggestions to help keep everyone safe. There is to be one unit (one RV or one tent) per campsite unless they can be 30 feet apart from each other, or camping with their cohort family (a group of close friends whom you are certain have self-isolated themselves, have not recently traveled and do not pose any risk of being infected with COVID-19.). There is to be no group gatherings outside of your cohort. Many Islands will not be able to be used as a venue for any events such as weddings, reunions etc. until further notice. If anyone is found not respecting the boundaries and stipulations we have put in place, you will be asked to leave the park immediately. Being a time of uncertainty for all, we ask that everyone be respectful and choose kindness towards each other and our caretaker. Have a wonderful summer! Happy Camping!

The count down is on... May 1st is coming quick! Just a few more days until the gates open at Many Islands! And to make it easier for all you boaters we now offer annual boat launch window stickers! Purchase an annual boat launch window sticker for only $50.00 and you can enjoy using the boat launch unlimited times during the 2021 season! ... Of course we still have our daily boat launch rate of $10.00 that you can pay at our camping registration box! Payment and leases for seasonal sites are due April 15th, if your payment is not received by this date your site will be given to the next person in line. Etransfers/emails be sent to [email protected] or cheques can be mailed to Box 152 Worsley, Alberta T0H 3W0

Our AGM will be held on April 8th at 7 pm at Moffatt’s camp. Please only attend if you are a board member or wanting to become a board member, and let Brandy Richardson or Patty McLarty know if you are attending so we can accommodate for the Covid regulations. Sending heartfelt condolences to Bob Melvin’s family. Bob was apart of our Many Islands community for many years, he could be found taking a drive around the campground and stopping numerous times to visit everyone, supervising the work bees, taking all the ladies for a spin on the dance floor at the music festival or pushing the kids on the swings. We will miss him dearly.
