Most wrapping paper is NOT recyclable! Like if you’re switching to these eco-friendly alternatives! Easy Eco Tips
One of the concerns with paper wrapping is leftover scraps and trimmings but there are some really fun ideas to use up those tiny bits that seem like waste. Some of my favourite options include a slim decorative sleeve or folding techniques that add a 3D pop of interest like these ornaments and tree. They look fantastic against a solid Kraft paper which is also fully recyclable. You’ll look like a wrapping expert while making sure you use up even the tiniest of pieces! ... #giving #sustainability #ecofriendly #giftwrapping #hamont #holidays #recycle
I don’t want to chose favourites ....but if I HAD to this holly print might just be my pick. Printed on a heavy Kraft paper made of 100% post consumer recycled paper it looks great with some simple bakers twine. #hamont #sustainability #ecofriendly #holidaygifts #giving
We’ve had a busy morning here at Giving Paper Co. prepping orders. We can’t wait to see your gifts wrapped and ready for giving #giving #hamont #ecofriendly #sustainability #smallbusiness #shoplocal
Most gift wrap isn’t recyclable due to the inks, plastic-coating and other paper additives. And sadly, if any non-recyclable wrapping paper ends up in the bin it contaminants the entire container! All of our gift wrap is made using paper from sustainable sources, printed with a biodegradable soy based ink and produced as locally as possible. After use it’s 100% recyclable (just remember to use a paper based tape or remove all cello tapes before tossing in the blue bin) #gifting #lowwaste #sustainability #smallbusiness #shoplocal #hamont
