As you know the Bank of Canada had made a rate drop of 50BPS at their regular scheduled meeting. Shortly after that they made an ADDITIONAL 50bps emergency rate drop to help the economy. This means that BOC (Bank of Canada) prime is at 0.75% and bank prime is at 2.95%. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Bank prime can be different for different banks!
