Glace Bay Hospital Foundation

Thank You to Jeep Kennedy and his Cameron’s Building Supplies Team for the $1,000 donation that we picked-up this Friday! Your donation will help support the purchase of up-to-date cutting-edge medical equipment at the Glace Bay Hospital. This, in turn, supports our local physicians, nurses and entire health care team. We are pleased to announce our donation of a new and vital piece of equipment, a D-Blade for the CMAC (video laryngoscope), for the Glace Bay Hospital Emergency Department. The D-Blade is used for difficult intubations and will improve the view in a difficult airway. The D-Blade cost $6,483 and, it is because of our donors, volunteers, and supporters, that we were able to make this purchase that will benefit patients and the health care professionals who care for them at the Glace Bay Hospital.
