Many frontline and essential workers - including some health care workers - don't have access to paid sick days. We've seen the devestarting and heartbreaking c...onsequences of this. Missing a shift without pay means being unable to pay rent or put food on the table. Making the decision between going to work sick and being unable to pay your bills is a decision that no one should have to make, especially during a pandemic. I ran into a lady yesterday that I have known for sometime and told her I was running in the next Provincial election, for the NDP. She told me that when Gary B...urrill lived here he was a good friend of her and her husband and that Gary has one on the kindest hearts of anyone she has ever met. That he truly cares about people. (Coming from this lady, who is one of the kindest people I know, with all the she does through volunteer work, says a lot.) This is what makes a great leader. We need to bring caring, kindness and compassion back into politics. Someone once told me I was too nice to be in politics, I disagree. I am proud to be running for the NDP. See more

Well folks it has been several months since the NSEF invited Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Houston to meet with them and to this date TIM HOUSTION has not even answered their calls and emails. TIM HOUSTON IS A FOLLOWER NOT A LEADER. He will do the exact same thing as Premier STEPHEN MCNEIL. NOTHING!!!!!!!
