Please join us in thanking Kathryn Harris for all her work at GMS as our Principal. We wish you well in your new role at W.S. Hawrylak! Now, join us in welcoming our new Principal, Brad Howard. He will work alongside Lisa Nenson-Catley, our current Principal. Brad is excited to be sharing his time between Gladys McDonald and George Lee. We have brought him out of a 5 year retirement from Regina Public Schools after 31 years; 26 years in elementary schools and 5 in high sch...ool . He had a number of roles over the years from an itinerant teacher, classroom teacher, Vice-Principal and Principal. Brad's last placement was the Principal at Winston Knoll Collegiate. During retirement, he also chose to substitute when the system needed help. In his spare time, he is involved with hockey, enjoys time on the golf course and southern holidays... when we were allowed to travel . Teaching runs in the family; his wife and 2 daughters are also teachers! Welcome aboard Brad and we look forward to meeting you!

Tomorrow we are wrapping up Salad Dressing Spirit Week with Raspberry Vinaigrette Day! This also happens to be the last school day before Valentines Day! So wear your red, white and pink today, and celebrate the love of learning, and the love we have for our teachers and staff at Gladys McDonald!

Aloha!!! Tomorrow is the day of a Thousand Island Dressing. What perfect time with the crazy cold weather to be imaging ourselves on a warm tropical beach... Bring on the Hawaiian Shirts, and summer dresses (under all the layers of clothing we need to get into the school), put some sunscreen on your nose and have a great day!

Phoenix loves Ms. Gamracy. He says she's soooooo nice. "I like that they teach me good things. Oh! I also like that they are fun - they are always making me do fun things.
