Does this happen to you? . Your out with your friends having a great time laughing and all of a sudden you find yourself crossing your legs and hoping you don’t leak. . Your thinking damn it I can’t even laugh without leaking oh but it’s a normal thing after having kids.... . Well guess what it’s NOT! . After having my fourth child I had to pee all the time and was told that my bladder had shrunk due to child birth, how does that happen... it doesn’t! I was told over and over it was because I had child and I was getting old... BULLSHIT!My pelvic floor was weak... yes that’s a thing! I am not saying childbirth and age could be a factor, in my case it wasn’t! . Your Pelvic floor gets weak too just like other muscles those hidden muscles needs to be strengthened too!. . Don’t be afraid to fuel your body its one of the best things to help change your physique.... . Its all about whole foods, consistency a balanced lifestyle and most of all enjoying life. . After having my fourth child I had urge incontience and was told that my bladder had shrunk due to child birth, it was not so it was the weakness of my pelvic floor. . It’s because your pelvic floor is weak and just like other muscles your pelvic floor is a MUSCLE that needs to be strengthened too!. . #happymonday Here is a story from one of my clients who wanted to share her story in hopes of helping other women. . I was never one to discuss my personal body issues with just anyone, a good friend of mine who is a urogynecologist came to Jamaica on a visit and asked me to attend a talk she was giving. So, to show my support, I attended the session and I am so glad I did. It made me realize that the... accidental leaks I had when I sneezed or jumped in Zumba class was something that didn’t happen to all women and it was an issue that could be fixed. It was not a huge issue for me as it happened infrequently, so I just stored the knowledge. Fast forward a few months, life got hectic couldn’t make it to the gym so I took up skipping at home to keep fit, after skipping for 5 minutes I would leak this became an issue! Then I saw a post that @glammafitt posted about correcting the issue by just doing Kegels and pelvic floor exercises. I decided to give it a try. After 8 weeks I no longer leaked when skipping and I can even run my 10k without worrying. . Fast forward 2 years, after doing the pelvic floor program it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The exercises were so simple to do yet they have made a big difference in my life. I never thought I would be able to skip again and jump on a trampoline with out worrying if I would leak. . Most people when sitting their butts go forward then we start rounding our spine then the shoulders start rounding also putting us in that cursed slouch position. ....
