’ ! Permanent Makeup is made up of over laying tiny pixels implanted into the epidermis to create the desired look. Is it not the same as a traditional tattoo where the artist goes deeper into the dermis and gets it done faster. When a permanent makeup artist uses the same technique as a traditional tattoo, the results will be more permanent as it goes deeper into the skin, it will traumatize the skin and also turn ashy. These are all things to avoid when it comes to... permanent makeup. It takes more time and patience to overlay those pixels. The movement and motion of your hand is only one aspect of achieving beautiful healed results but is a very crucial one. The main thing to avoid is traumatizing the skin. If you go too deep you’ll definitely know! ____________ Finding the right depth is not easy if you don’t have the right training. Going too deep with cause trauma to the skin, scars and an ashy colour but too shallow will result in little to no retention. During our training courses we teach our students multiple ways of brow mapping and allow them to be creative and to use whatever technique(s) work for them. One way may not work every artist or client. As a matter of fact, we combine multiple techniques when we map our clients. We don’t hold... anything back. We teach you all our tricks and tips to help you create a more symmetrical set of brows. . . . . This was a shot of me not knowing what pose to do so I pretended to work on a client. Of course this isn’t the proper way but what the heck. Fast forward a few months later who knew this would be my reality?? . .... Although I miss working, this pandemic has been a positive thing for me. I got to slow down and spend time with my family, I was able to work on myself, create a website and booking system, take extra courses and put more time into researching and revamping my training courses.
