UPDATE: As Hamilton goes into lock down on Dec. 21st, the office of Glanbrook Community Services(GCS) will be unable to allow individuals / clients into the building. Please continue to contact us by phone, virtual options and email, or ring back doorbell to speak with us outside the building. We continue to be available to assist you, including delivery or pick up (curbside) of our hot and frozen meals. We encourage everyone to remain safe and abide by lock down protocols. A big thank you to Binbrook Tim Horton's who once again is supporting our Christmas Tree of Angels. Choose an angel, purchase the gift, drop off the gift at GCS office and GCS will deliver to our clients. We are asking for gift cards (grocery stores, Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart etc.), a certificate to any GCS program or a monetary donation (keeping 'touchables' to a minimum). Thank you... and support local!
There are many angels still asking to be chosen. Please visit or phone (905-692-3464) the GCS office OR visit the Binbrook Tim Horton's and pick an angel for your opportunity to support a senior in the community this Christmas season. Not sure? Ask us, we can help. Suggestions for donations: toiletries, Kleenex, household items, gift cards

From Brenda Johnson, Councillor Ward 11 2020 Remembrance Day Service will be Virtual & Live on CHCH The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, in the past, has host...ed the largest indoor Remembrance Day service and the second largest attended service in Canada. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will not be possible to hold an indoor event this year. Instead they will be holding a Virtual Service on November 11th 10:30 am to 11:30 am, live on CHCH-TV or streaming at chch.com/live. Additionally the Warplane Heritage Museum plans to touch thousands of people in the Golden Horseshow area with an increased number of vintage warplanes (including our Lancaster), flying over multiple community cenotaphs in the area weather permitting. For further information refer to their website page www.warplane.com Unfortunately due to the pandemic the Glanbrook Remembrance Day Ceremony traditionally held at the Glanbrook Cenotaph has been cancelled. As always, should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at 905-546-4513 or by email at [email protected] For up to date information on events and news happening in Ward 11 be sure to check out my website www.brendajohnson.ca and follow me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/cllrbjohnson and Twitter at http://twitter.com/CouncillorB Brenda Johnson Councillor Ward 1

Unfortunately, due to the on going Covid 19 restrictions our Book Sale is cancelled. We appreciate those who have inquired and wished to donate. We are also unable to accept donations of books at this time. We are extremely hopeful we can continue this fund raiser (as with all our fundraisers) sooner than later. Thank you everyone for your continued support.
