Library Updates: -Board Member: we are looking for another member. Requirements very low. Appr 1, 2 hour meeting per 3 or 4 months. Appr. 1 fundraiser/year (ex: generally donating a sweet). -THE LIBRARY IS OPEN NOW, TUES 2-5 AND THURSDAYS 12-5!!! ... Modifications in place such as 1 person or family allowed in at a time, books that have been touched while perusing are quarantined from further perusal for 3 days, etc. You can order online (enter barcode as username and the last four digits you signed up for card with are your pin) if you would like to order books that are not at our library. You can also sign up for a HOOPLA DIGITAL account. Get the app (does not work otherwise) and you can order 5 movies, books, audio cds, etc. per month and no returns! See more

CIRCULATION! Things are a little different with people not being able to come INTO the library. BUT you can definitely continue to explore titles as well as support our numbers a few different ways, not all of which are by READING BOOKS... 1) order books online at lakelandlibrary.ca and pick them up o/s the library door when you get a notification that they're ready 2) order books and in some cases I will deliver... 3) download the HOOPLA DIGITAL app onto your device. Then create an acct. Then log in and order up to 5 titles a month.
