The Glass House remains open for business 10:00 am - 5:00pm, Monday- Saturday and we are stocked on glass and plenty of supplies! We are still offering services such as repairs, custom work (small and large), advice, kiln firing, and starter kits! ... We have had a lot of questions regarding classes (we miss them too!) Moving forward we will start to be offering classes in September through December BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. This is a little different than what we are used to so we appreciate everyones patience as we try to make sure everything runs smoothly for you and for us. We will be running smaller classes so that we can continue to abide by the Government of Ontario and Kingston Public Health guidelines regarding social distancing and sanitary/disinfecting measures. Sarah took our Glass on Glass class several months ago but was unable to come in to grout due to Covid restrictions. We provided her with grout and instructions for her to complete her project at home and WOW! - she did a great job! Love this burst of colour, Sarah!

Looking forward to helping our customers in person (with social distancing, of course!). We are limiting inside guests to no more than 3 at one time; but we have lovely seating areas on our large deck for those waiting to get in (or just to relax and enjoy the many birds at our feeders ).

Soooo ... in anticipation of being able to have a few folks in at a time starting on Tuesday, May 19th, we just received a new shipment of 12 X 12 crate glass in both regular stained glass ($8/piece) and in COE 96 ($14/piece). Our hours will be 10 am to 5 pm Monday thru Saturday (closed on Victoria Day Monday).

The recent announcement by the Ontario government is allowing small businesses like The Glass House to open its doors to customers starting Tuesday, May 19th provided we maintain social distancing. We will limit the number of people in the shop to 3 at one time + one staff member. Our hours, starting Tuesday (after Victoria Day), will be Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 5 pm for shopping only. Classes will remain temporarily halted until further notice. Hopefully, Phase 1 of Ontario's re-opening will be successful and we will move toward restoring all services... fingers crossed. We also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their ongoing support and caring via "porchside" pickup and thoughtful messages and phone calls - our customers are THE BEST! Thank you - we appreciate you so very much!
