Enough is enough. Anti-Black racism is not born it is taught, meaning it can be untaught. However, we will never live in a world with equity and inclusion if we do not all actively challenge the micro-aggressions we hear, and the racist actions we see.... Ignorance is not an option, discrimination is not an option and racism will not be tolerated. Today is the day to listen, read and actively stand up to systemic racism. To our valued GSO community, It’s with a heavy heart that we inform you all that all Glass Slipper Event Giveaways for this spring season have been cancelled d...ue to the COVID19 pandemic. Our organization values the safety of everyone in our community. Thus, in accordance with public health guidelines, we are unable to host our giveaways that often attract large gatherings of people. COVID19 affects everyone, and we want to send our best wishes to everyone in our community during this time. We hope you and your loved ones each stay safe, stay healthy, and practice social distancing. We understand that there are many young individuals who are disappointed that they will not have their special prom day. To them, we say: Although your time at high school may have been cut short, we want you to know how proud we are of each and everyone one of your accomplishments. Even though we cannot physically see you, we celebrate you and want you to know that your community supports you during this time . The COVID19 pandemic is changing rapidly.
