I was thrilled beyond words to play a small role in this very special presentation by Mike Rude of The Rude Awakening Tour to thank Kim Murphy for his support and to honour his 31+ years of dedicated service at "The Big House" with the Hamilton Fire Department (and 26 years as referee with the Canadian Football League)! Even Spark, Mike's service dog made a little cameo appearance! It’s been a very tragic day for the people of Nova Scotia and the heartbreaking sorrowis felt by all Canadians across this great country. Words are hard to express. My thoughts and prayers go out to the many victims' loved ones, colleagues and friends who are mourning the tragic loss of 23 year veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police - Constable Heidi Stevenson as well as two Correctional Service of Canada members (names yet to be released). Let’s all continue to pray for the families and those who are injured as well. It’s been a hard day for us all..
