The lambs are all enjoying the warmer weather and so are we . I tried to do a count of how many babies were in this stack and I couldn't figure out where one lamb ended and the other begun!
3/4 of these sweet little faces were born right here on the farm. We love sharing the joy of new baby lambs
Mornings like these make all the late nights and early mornings worth it. Lambing season is hands down my favourite time of the year, but when you're checking the sheep at 11, 1, 3, 5 and 7, it really makes you question yourself
Hoping this Mama has enough love to go around
Trying to get a group photo where everyone is smiling is never easy! The expression on number 3 is about how we feel when someone decides to lamb at 2am
We thought that this year would be different and that we could share Easter on the farm with all of you! For now, this will have to do Happy Easter from our family to yours Shout out to Katie Clarkson for doing such a fantastic job behind the camera!
Happy Halloween y'all Tis truly the spookiest night of the year for us farmers and it's not the little ghosts that are freaking us out, it's the darkness. You see as soon as the sun goes down, the skies light up. And while the beautiful sparkles of light fly across the sky, all we can do is worry. ... We worry about the dogs who cower at our feet and the cows stampeding in the barn we worry we made the wrong decision leaving our animals in the pastures. We know it's all fun and games. I'm sure you mean no harm. But before you light off all those fireworks, please think of the animals, try to picture 70+ 2000lb animals running scared.. We are your neighbours, your family and your friends. This is what halloween is for us.... Sincerely, a frightened farmer.
We now have LAMB, GROUND BEEF, BEEF STEW, most cuts of PORK and whole chicken. We are open at our farm stand everyday, but will not be going to the Farmers’ Market for the next few weeks. Come on out and see where your meat is grown!
Good morning y'all! We're having a farm meeting this morning and have decided to take a bit of a break from the farmers market to regroup after the insanity of this summer. We'll miss all of you and your smiling faces but we will be happy to put orders together for farm pick up and potentially do a few deliveries too. ... Stay healthy friends
This is how I feel after my second slice of pumpkin pie Hope you all had a wonderful weekend
