This weekend we had some new products arrive!! The first one I have here is for hot sauce lovers. I just love the look of these bottles. These Manitoba producers are originally from Sri Lanka and have brought us their flavours of home. We have three flavours and three different heat levels, from sweety with a mild kick to magma (the name says it all).

It’s a cloudy spring day, peaceful and quiet yet we know the rush of summer is just around the corner. A good day to sit with a good book and a hot chocolate. David has made some awesome hot chocolate bombs to try for days like today.

Kaboom Coating Mix is here just in time for summer and your camping/fishing trips. A father and son team creation and Manitoba made! I can see this as a great gift for the men in your life that love to fry their fresh caught fish over the open fire

Look what we have at the bakery today. Fancy Infusions pepper jellies are made by Hayley from Winnipeg. A woman starting a spicy new business. Beautiful jellies paired with Brie, baked and served with fresh bread.

We met Bev from Prairie Oils on Saturday at her store in Steinbach. What a sweet woman who loves to support Manitoba made businesses. Now we too can support her with offering her oils and balsamic vinegars here at our bakery. My favourite and a staple in a well stocked kitchen is the traditional balsamic vinegar. Wonderful on salads, in marinades, and just so awesome mixed with an oil and used as a bread dip!!!! If you are new to flavoured olive oil and balsamic vinegar she offers twin packs that are paired for you to try or even for those that are not new to this but like to have a larger variety of flavours handy for a quick salad dressing that brings a new twist to greens.

It's Tuesday, and pizza-by-the-slice is ready ! We have fresh Macaroni Salad, and the showcase is filled with turnovers, pizza buns, Long Johns, and Coconut Cream Pie !

We will be closed on Easter Monday. We need the extra day to recover See you Tuesday!!

The Easter Bunny was early, dropping off more Rice Krispie Easter eggs, drenched in white or dark chocolate. As it's Tuesday, we also have Icelandic bread, as well as our usual breads and buns. And BROWNIES !!!! Rocky Road or Triple Chocolate are available today, with more varieties tomorrow and Thursday !
