GOOD NEWS: The Glenmore Dam pathway is now open! A new, wider bridge deck across the dam gives pathway users amazing views of Calgary and connects them to 27 km... of pathways around the Reservoir and along the Elbow River. The new bridge deck is just one of the improvements made to the dam. One of the key upgrades was the installation of 21 new higher steel gates that provides both greater flood protection and increased drinking water storage for our growing city.
