Hey friends! Laura and her team are putting together some craft kits for Mother’s Day! Let us know by May 2nd if your child would like one, and we will do some porch drop-offs on May 5th.
He is not here! He is risen! Celebrate with us this morning at 10:30 - online - as we take communion with Pastor Mitchell. https://youtu.be/Vb24Lk1Oh5M
It's Good Friday ... a time to reflect on what Christ did for us so many years ago. It's heavy, yes, and sad, but we know that Sunday's coming. You see, Earth's saddest and gladdest days were just 3 days apart. Stay tuned, friends. His story (and ours) is not over yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_unHmAf7INk
Good morning! Join us for some worship and word! https://youtu.be/Wiu2Dg02-Ek
As of Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 12:01 A.M., Ontario will be in provincewide shutdown. According to the information on the provincial website, this means that we can still hold services at 15% room capacity, or 25 people inside the sanctuary. We will continue to monitor the website for any further instruction. Please check in with Laura at the church before coming in on Sunday morning. Thank you. https://covid-19.ontario.ca/zones-and-restrictions
We’re going back to RED at midnight in the Middlesex-London region. Nothing changes for us, at this point, so our Easter Sunday service will continue to run, as planned. If you are thinking of attending, please contact Laura in the office and let her know, as space is limited, as always. #faithpentecostalassembly #glencoefpa #redzone #middlesexlondon #churchisstillopen #eastersunday2021

As we watch events unfold, both near and far in the world around us, let us continue to pray for the many that are worried for their safety. Pray for our leaders to have wisdom, integrity, and honour in their decisions. Pray for that which is intended for evil, to be used for good.

Every ending has a new beginning. It’s a bittersweet time, as we prepare to celebrate Pastor Jamie and Candace’s years here at Faith. Tomorrow is their last Sunday with us. Jamie is taking on the position of lead pastor at Spring Bay Pentecostal Church in Spring Bay, ON - located on Manitoulin Island. Both Pastor Jamie and Candace have been a part of Faith since their days in the youth group here at the church - they were truly raised by their church family, and we’ve watche...d them grow and transition from friends at youth to becoming a married couple to becoming parents. Their children were raised and baptized here, and spent their lives serving at Faith, as well. We have seen them grow to become the incredible young people that they are. Jamie became lead pastor at Faith in 2008, and we have enjoyed these many years in ministry with him. It’s been an honour as a church to be able to walk with him through so much of his and Candace’s life, and it will be strange to not see their faces at church and around town. That being said, they are excited for this new adventure that God has called them to, and we are so happy for them. Great things have happened in Glencoe under Pastor Jamie’s leadership, and we are praying that great things will happen in Spring Bay, too. Pastor Jamie & Candace - thank you for your love, support, and continuous prayers for the church and for the community. You have poured so much of yourselves into this town, and we have been blessed to have you here for so long. We love you and we will miss you, dear friends, and we can’t wait to hear your stories about what is happening on the island. Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 #happythanksgiving #rejoicepraygivethanks #faithpentecostalassembly #glencoefpa

Many have been asking how we are managing with social distancing during our services. We are taking all precautions and our congregation has been more than helpful, as we settle into this new normal. #covid_19 #socialdistancing #faithpentecostalassembly #glencoefpa #doingourpart #rebuildrestorerenew #inthistogether
In case you missed the announcement this morning: It is with mixed feelings that I make this announcement. We both started in the youth group, many years ago (28 years for Candace, 27 for myself). From there we eventually got married, started having children, and saw them get baptized in this very building. Faith Pentecostal Assembly is and always will be our home church. I later became a board member and eventually through the online experience became your pastor to which I ...have served as your pastor for 13 years. This has been both exciting and challenging experiences, but the time has come and God is calling us onward to new and exciting challenges that I'm sure will give us more growth and great experiences. At the same time I know He has great and wonderful experience ahead for Faith Pentecostal Assembly. We pray for only the best as this is the church we love the most as we announce that our last Sunday will be October 18th. God Bless, Pastor Jamie
Good morning! Come join us for our Sunday morning service starting at 10:30am https://youtu.be/F48m1JBELSI
Well okay - everyone missed this one because due to technological difficulties it never made it. But maybe you remember Pastor Adam and Emily White. Here they are and their family has grown and so take a moment and listen to the encouraging words that they have to offer as we hope for tomorrow.
As we continued to reflect on yesterday, hope for tomorrow, and learn to celebrate, our Chairperson, Don McIlmoyle gives encouragement to the people of Faith.
Last week was our anniversary service and in case you missed it we wanted to repost some of the videos that were played as we reflected on yesterday, hoped for tomorrow, and learned to celebrate. This is video 1 of 3, in which many gave greetings to the church.
