Sad that Premier Ford did not annonce the reopening of golf courses today. Grounds sporting beautiful new flower beds, thanks to volunteer gardeners, Barbara, Johanna and Sigrun. Grace à l'équipe de bénévoles, le terrain se fait une beauté.

Unfortunately, we just got confirmation that golf courses have to closed at 12:00 tonight, April 16th. We will update this post as soon as we have additionnal information.

With the lovely weather, GGCC is getting closer to opening. Follow us here for updates. The health and safety of our customers and our staff is our top priority and Covid measures will be strictly enforced. Some measures are new while others are the same as last year. - Tee-times are mandatory. Walk-on not permitted... - Please book your time online or by phone. - We highly recommend paying by credit or debit card, online and at Pro Shop - Arrive only 15 minutes ahead of your booked time - Maintain a distance of 2 meters at all time and follow all signs and arrows - New: Masks are required from when you arrive until you get to the first tee and after you leave the 9th or 18th green until you get back in your car. You do not have to wear a mask while golfing. - New: Masks are mandatory on golf carts even with the divider unless riders are from the same household. - Grab and Go snacks and drinks available in the Pro Shop and at our BBQ unit. Patio will remain closed during the lockdown. - No gathering permitted; please leave after completing your round. Thank you for your help in preventing the spread of Covid19

Golf season is back. The Wednesday Night Men’s Twilight League will be starting on June 3, 2020. The cost is $40.00 per person to be paid upon registering. Anyone interested in playing can register at the Pro Shop or by e-transfer to me at [email protected]. Things will be a little different to start the season. Tee times have been blocked for the league starting at 3:00 pm and every 12 minutes until 6:00 pm. Cost of play will be the same as last year $18.00 walking and ...$24.00 with cart, this is for a 9 hole. If you wish to play before 3:00 pm you will need to call and reserve a tee time. There will be no gathering after your round. The results will be posted in the window in the Pro Shop until we are able to get together. It will be expected that you abide by the Course’s Golfing rules in effect during these unprecedented times. As the season passes we will keep you updated to any changes. Hope to see you there. 2020 COVID-19 PRACTICES @ GG&CC Yes, it’s true! Glengarry Golf & Country Club is opening Saturday, May 16. We believe our course is in great shape and look forward to seeing many of our golfing friends again over the upcoming days. Similar to what you are seeing everywhere, when we open things will work very differently. There are many changes but please know that everything we are doing is to ensure the safety of our customers and our employees. Your support and co-operation... is appreciated as we all fight together against COVID-19. Stringent enforcement of social distancing and necessary safety practices are as follows: Please practice social distancing at all times. Book tee times on-line through our website or call the Pro Shop (613-525-2912) to ensure being able to play. No Walk-on golfers. Tee time spacing has been extended to 12 minutes to accommodate the new practices. Please arrive at the course about 15 minutes prior to your tee time. Driving range and putting greens will be closed. Debit & credit transactions only. No cash payments. Display products only (balls, tees, gloves). Ask Pro Shop staff & they will bring purchased items to you at the counter. We are permitting 4 people per group. One person per cart unless in same household, then a cart can be shared. All carts will be sanitized prior to next use. Walking is encouraged whenever possible. Rental & personal pushcarts only. No rental golf clubs will be available. No storage of clubs, carts or clothing until further notice. No rakes, ball washers, garbage cans, divot repair boxes and benches will be on the course. Do not remove flagsticks. ‘Noodle’ pieces will be placed in pin cups to allow safe retrieval of balls at the pin. There will be no washrooms on the course, in the Clubhouse or Pro Shop. Outer Clubhouse washrooms to be used only, and will be regularly cleaned. Coffee, canned beverages & snacks will be available in Pro Shop. No pre and post-game gatherings.
