March marks the start of tick season and the warmer temperatures mean we’re all ready to spend more time outside with our pets. Unfortunately ticks don’t understand social distancing so it’s important that you start their flea and tick prevention soon! Mars signifie que la saison des tiques est arrivé. Avec les températures plus chaudes tout le monde est excites d’aller dehors avec leurs animaux. Malheureusement, les tiques ne comprennent pas la distanciation sociale alors c’est important de commencer leur prevention bientôt!

Happy Groundhog Day! Hard to tell with all the snow we are getting today. Aujourd'hui c'est le jour de la marmotte!! Qu'en pensez-vous?

Have you noticed that you older pets behavior has changed or that they seem uncomfortable or painful? Arthritis (also known as osteoarthritis or OA) is an extremely common disease that affects about 25% of dogs and nearly 40% of cats. Although arthritis is most commonly found in older pets, even young cats and dogs may suffer from it. No pet should suffer in silence and we encourage all of our clients to open a discussion with any of our team members if they are concerned about pain or discomfort in their pets. In the comments below there will be a link to a checklist from ZOETIS (one for dogs and one for cats) that can help identify behaviors that you may notice in your pets that could be signs of osteoarthritis.

As we head into a new year and close the chapter on this unusual one, we would like to express how grateful we are to all of our clients. Thank you for being so kind and patient with us as we have had to maneuver through challenges we’ve never faced. Your smiles, thoughtful words and words of encouragement have helped us overcome each and every challenge. Your friendly faces have helped us stay positive throughout all of this. Thank you for trusting us with your best friend...s and furry family members during curbside service when you couldn’t be there with them. We promise that we gave them (and continue to give them!) all of the kisses, cuddles and treats possible. During these moments of uncertainty, there is one thing you can always count on and that is our commitment to you and the well-being of your pets and we look forward to continuing to ensure this in 2021. Sometimes we get way more calls than we can handle. We figured there is no better time than the present to train our fellow resident Crayon. It might be a long process as we continually have to interrupt her cat naps to train her. She might eventually earn a few more of her favorite treats Enjoy the long weekend. We will open on Tuesday Sept 8th. The team will be ready to serve you. Parfois nous avons un peu de difficulté à répondre tous les appels. Nous avons décidé de former notre résidente Crayon à répondre les appels. Peut être qu'un jour elle pourra avoir sa propre station à la réception. L'entrainement s'avère long puisque elle demande toujours une pause pour des siestes. Profitez de la longue fin de semaine. Nous serons de retour mardi le 8 septembre pour vous servir.

Crayon is really tired after a busy work week. She hopes you will do like her and get some rest over the weekend. Our very own Dr Green was in the spirit of the Games this week. She was sporting her kilt to work! Have a great long weekend. Please note that we are closed Monday August 3rd. Voici Dr Green dans son kilt écossais. Même si les jeux Highland n'ont pas lieu cette année....elle était tout de même dans l'esprit. Passer une superbe longue fin de semaine.
