So I’m on chapter thirteen of the third Fenn & Lareault mystery-thriller. I have a secondary character to kill off but I’m having a hard time ‘doin’ the deed’. Maybe it’s because of all the bad stuff going on in the real world, or maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something. What do you think? or .

We don't have to look too far to find doom and gloom, right now, but there are some positives to all this time we're spending at home; closets are getting organized, new recipes are being tried, and in our neighbourhood there seems to be a mass dandelion purge happening - don't know what people have against dandelions, I think they add a happy splash of colour, but that's just me. . Personally, it's given me a leg up on the next installment in the Fenn & Lareault series. So f...ar, I've got the first seven chapters down - that's a little over 11,000 words for those keeping count. I've got a dead body, always a good start, and a host of compelling characters. Haven't yet decided who did the nefarious deed, or their motive but I'm sure Fenn or Lareault will figure it out. . It will also be interesting to see if a COVID vaccine can be found before I finish the book. Hopefully both will happen before too long. .
