Breakfast this morning which came out more like dessert. Sweet banana bread made in our rectangular steamer (in the microwave) then toasted for some crunch. Bananas cooked with some butter and honey.... Finished with tutti Frutti topper! I had a scoop of protein in my coffee to balance out the meal

A classic combination

Last night's dinner we used April's Taste Test for honey garlic wings BUT a local restaurant has a special flavour that also drizzles honey dill sauce (a MB favourite) on their honey garlic wings. The honey dill sauce is 2/3 cup mayo, 1/3 cup honey (you can play with these measurements to suit your taste) and 2T lemon dilly dip mix. We devoured these wings. I was sure we would have leftovers but no.

Carrot cake makes a great dessert anytime time of year. Happy Easter from my family to yours.

You know I thought these were lumpia at first. But taquitos sound great too!
