Glimmer of Hope

I apologize for my absence as of late. I had a major surgery January 11th, and still have a couple more weeks of healing to go. I am preparing to launch full time, and am so stoked about it!!!! Accepting nominations again!! This includes children up to 12 ish, and including but not limited to the following situations - Birthdays where parents/guardians cannot afford to get their child much - House Fires - Children who have been apprehended and emergency care kits may be nee...ded - Car Accidents - Moderate to Severe illness for the child, or if one of the child's loved ones is ill, a package to help calm the child. - A child facing the death of a loved one or pet - Domestic Abuse I have limited supplies, but will do what I can. I believe just a Glimmer of Hope in a child's confused world, kindness from a stranger, can go a long way in helping them heal.

So to be clear, when I offer to help a family. I cannot go out and buy everything new. Majority of what I have is donated. I do the best I can with what I have. I cannot provide furniture and things for adults. I deal primarily with children. So sorry, but it is what it is. Granted, most people still do not yet know about Glimmer of Hope, so I just wanted to make this clear.

Apologies to everyone waiting on responses, pick ups or deliveries. I'm quite swamped and am just in the process of revamping a basement room to become my new office and workspace.

My Newest Pilot Program!!! I've selected three mothers, I get their children's old clothes, and I replace with the new sizes. When children start outgrowing those sizes, I get them back and replace with the next size up <3

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of Yukoners, I am temporarily suspending all donations until further notice, aside from the one's currently arranged. I am currently still sorting through mass amounts, washing, and storing what I can with what I have. I am greatly in need of storage totes with lids, bookshelves, and other storage options.
